Is exercise ALONE enough for lasting wellness & weight loss?

Why is exercising for weight loss for that 40 y.o. body, like a coat-of-paint for your 40 y.o. house?

Indeed, Why is the 'Biggest loser' TV concept actually teaching us all to become longterm losers in life? Sure weight loss (alone) to the Obese is a critical wellbeing issue for one's longevity? After all how many obese 80-90 year olds does one see around us?...VERY, VERY FEW! However that coat-of-paint, called exercise, only REALLY goes skin(paint) deep. Please let me explain...

That fresh 'coat of paint' makes your house look just great...All shiny, polished looking, even younger & who knows you may even net an extra profit when you sell it but scratch the surface and watch out!

Those cracks are still there -just filled in-, that old roof line is still warped, the white ants still need eradicating, the basement is still full of cockroaches, the bathroom really needs a real 'clean out'.

So, what's my point?

1) Your program absolutely MUST work-in with your lifestyle. For most busy folk that would be a maximum of 3-4x wkly for say 20-40 minutes each.

2) If you cannot lose weight with this sort of ‘biggest-loser’ regime then most will fail at exercise AT ALL.

3) Just say you perform like those 'seals' on TV's biggest losers & get to your ideal weight after some 6 months of struggle- Who really wants to spend 1-4 hrs per day in a gymnasium to maintain same?..If my customers come to me asking me for the real-proof as to whatever type of therapy they may be on I will tell them: To 'see how they go off the therapy'. If their treatment regime HAS actually improved them then they'll notice benefit for at least 6-8 weeks off their treatment and not put on weight.

So exercise yes, but don't flagellate yourself doing so AND if you do BUT you don't respond you'll need to look much deeper into why not!

4) For REAL longevity, natural weight loss & wellness benefit you really need to fathom the depth of deficiencies you have associated with obesity (The cracks in the wall);whether you're absorbing properly (That shiny, polished look); the genetic dispositions you may toward obesity(That basement clean out); Are those organs of elimination detoxing your body well(that bathroom cleanout) & finally is your attitude and outlook on track(that bent roof-line).

For you see, you may well get to your ideal weight through an exercise regime thru your mind-power (those TV biggest losers) but when you get to your ideal weight; What have you really changed? Naught, but-your-mind!!
