Have you got MVP?
There are generally three types of people with MVP/MVPS
1 MVP or floppy valve. Detected by a doctor's stethoscope in a routine check-up or by a heart ultrasound. No need for surgery, no increase in risk of heart problems and no other annoying symptoms. Most people with MVP will not know that they have it.
2 People with valves that are so prolapsed and leaky they will need surgery. There may be an increase in the risk of valve problems in the heart. Surgery can usually fix the valve. Generally, there are no MVPS or anxiety symptoms and often the condition is only detected with a routine heart check.
3 The third group is of people who are plagued by the MVPS/ dysautonomia symptoms. Generally, there is no functional heart problem, but other health issues like anxiety, palpitations, sleeplessness and fibromyalgia can be experienced. Many people with dysautonomia are diagnosed with MVP on an ultrasound, but not all - this adds to the confusion.
key points to help sufferers MVPS responds well to • Drinking eight to 10 glasses of water a day. Improving low body fluids can help with palpitations and other symptoms. • Eating salt to help hold onto fluids. • Taking 400mg of magnesium daily to improve heart palpitations. • Being aware of co-existing problems. A South African study reported to a Pan American Congress of Digestive Diseases that 76 per cent of irritable bowel patients who were randomly given an ultrasound had MVP. • Exercising. "People mistakenly stop exercising because they think it will stress their heart," says Durante. "This is the worst thing they can do. Regular exercise is often the best treatment." • Get help. Often just getting a diagnosis can reduce many symptoms, says Durante, while psychotherapy, anti-depressants or other medications may help anxiety and beta-blockers may slow down a racing heart. • Avoid coffee, cigarettes, alcohol and marijuana. Many people with MVPS are sensitive to medications. • Being cautious about surgery. "Most people with MVP may have to take antibiotics before surgery or dental procedures so that the valve in the heart is not infected, though this is unlikely," says Professor Celermajer

Therefore, in light of the above; Does the heart have a memory?....Absolutely it does.
Why is this information important for those who are obese?
|
Because, even with the best of intentions many who begin a weight loss regime or make dietary changes SO OFTEN find that mental & emotional stress will 'shoot them down'. They'll go well for a few weeks BUT after some upset they will 'comfort eat'.
Further our clinical findings have indicated that those who suffer the greatest weight issues, or what Doctors call the morbidly obese, are heart-mind individuals. |
Why is being able to balance-the-3-minds-of-man important?
It is our estimate that some 6% of the human race work through the heart mind. What this means is that they are born extremely sensitive folk. However thru work or poor personal relationships they often find themselves in threatening/abusive relationships.
NOW, it is common knowledge that animals put on fat as a defense against thermally hostile environment. However, heart-mind individuals who also have the genetic dispostion to weight gain AND who feel vulnerable toward work or personal emotional environs ARE AT THE GREATEST RISK TO BECOME MORBIDLY OBESE because they subconsciously will put on fatty weight to defend/protect/insulate themselves against that emotionally threatening environment.
THESE ARE SENSITIVE FOLK!!!! They will need alot of support to help them lose wt successfully for the longterm without the allowing-the-life-force-capsules here.
NOW YOU KNOW WHY IT IS ABSOLUTELY CRITICAL for these folk to get their heart mind in harmony with the rest of their physiology for long term weight stability.
Further, you now have an insight as to why it's often those in the caring professions; Nurses, Personal carers, etc who tend to put on ALOt of weight. Esp. Nurses, because of their often hostile working environment.
